Pitching Clinic

On Freedom Field, Cohasset
- 5 weeks,
- Sundays, 1-hr sessions
- $100 for all sessions
- Open to anyone looking to start pitching or advanced pitchers,
- GOAL: To improve mechanics and fundamentals to improve velocity and command of the zone.
- Week 1: Assessment of where each girl is at & devise a plan to work on throughout the 5 weeks.
- Each week, videos are taken to log progress & different drills performed to work on specific needs.
- Dates: April 7th, April 14th, (week off for April Break) April 28th, May 5th, May 12th
- 5-7 girls per hour, and they MUST bring a catcher.
- Times: D1 and D2 (2nd Grade-5th grade) from 10am-11am
SHANNON MACLEOD BACKGROUND:
My name is Shannon Macleod, and I have been playing softball since I moved to Cohasset when I was 7 years old. My love of the game all started on Freedom Field. I am a Senior at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham and am the Captain of the Softball team. I play Club softball on a national team, The Rhode Island Thunder. I am committed to Boston College to play D1 softball.
I love teaching lessons and clinics, so I want to help and build my own town’s program and give back to it what it gave to me. When teaching lessons also helps me in my training and pitching, so I am very excited to get started! This clinic will be 5 weeks of one-hour sessions on Sunday mornings open to anyone looking to start pitching or advanced pitchers.
I will work individually with everyone to help each girl prepare for their seasons and improve from the start to the end of the clinic. In the first week, I will assess where each girl is at and will come up with a plan for what we will work on throughout the 5 weeks. Each week, I will take videos to log progress as well as have different drills prepared to work on specific needs.
It is so IMPORTANT that the girls practice during the week to get better and work on the things we practice in the lessons. You will get out of it what you put into it!
