All-Star Selection Process

The CYBSA has a fairly rigorous process to select the All-Star team (and have used it or some version of it every year). Here is generally how the selection process works:

First, all Major League (ML) coaches are asked to submit the names of 20 players that they think most deserve to be acknowledged as All-Stars. These nominations cannot be players from that coach's team. This way we eliminate any real biases and hopefully get a good representation of players that have distinguished themselves in the eyes of other coaches across the league.

Second, a master list is complied of all players that were nominated by any coach and released to all ML coaches. They are asked to vote for their top 24 players. The top 24 vote getters are selected as All-Stars that year.
