All-Star Game/Family Cookout/Picture Day

Join us next Saturday, June 20th for the CYBSA Family Cookout and All-Star festivities.
Include some local Star Gazing Saturday night...
Baseball and Softball players, coaches, parents and fans, we are thrilled to announce this year's All-Star Game and Cookout. Once again, our Softball and Baseball All-Star games will be held under the lights at Barnes Field on Saturday, June 20th. We have arranged to have several light towers delivered and set up for the All-Star weekend. We are still working through the details of the event but I wanted to provide everyone some highlights of what we have planned.
Saturday June 20th: Cookout Skills Competition & Playoff Game
~ 11:00 - 4 PM - All-Star Competition for both Softball and Baseball All-stars. Some of the events being planned include;
- Homerun Derby
- Hitting Contest
- Golden Arm Contest
- Timed run to around the bases
- Other activities
Players will select a couple of event to compete in. Still some planning underway so some of these events may change.
All winners will be presented with an award.
~ 11:30AM until 1:30PM - CYBSA Family Cookout (the burgers, drinks and dogs are on us)
~ 10:00AM - 1:00PM - Team Pictures will be taken at Freedom Field. Check the website for the schedule (schedule in being updated so please check near end of week).
~ 1:30PM - 9:00PM - The world famous Snack Shack will be open serving gastronomic delights to all interested in dining and the fabulous Barnes Complex. CYBSA Coaches and volunteers (under the guidance of our Snack Shack Crew) will be offering a variety of food and refreshments throughout the day.
Saturday June 20th, continued:
5:00 - 7:00 PM Girls All-Star Softball Game on Barnes Field
7:20 - 9:30 PM Boys All-Star Baseball Game on Barnes Field
9:30 - 10:00 PM Clean up.
Lights out at 10 PM.
This will be an awesome event and we hope you will be able to join us in the celebration. Some of the details may change over the course of this week, please check the CYBSA website as we near the event.
Important Information for the Event:
Parking. The ball fields are located in a populated neighborhood. We hope that everyone has a wonderful time at this event and ask that you respect the privacy of the neighbors abutting the ball fields. Parking is provided at the ball field and at Wheelwright Park. Street side parking is prohibited and we anticipate that violators will be ticketed.
