ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2012 at 7:30 pm
We will hold the Annual CYBSA Membership Meeting. All Regular Members of the CYBSA are invited to attend (you can enroll as a regular member on the website under "online registration" - any adult who is interested in furthering the objectives of the CYBSA may become a regular member. We encourage all of you to enroll).
At this meeting we will present the state of the league and highlight our plans for 2012. The meeting will be held in the Cohasset High School Library.
The CYBSA Constitution provides for a Board of Directors that is elected by the CYBSA's Regular Members.
This year, with service to start on January 1, 2012, we anticipate 3-4 open seats for new Board members. These open seats are the result of retiring members and members who have completed their three year term and must run again to continue their service to the Board. Each position has a three year term. Board members do not need to coach a team or have a deep knowledge of baseball or softball. We encourage all interested members to run for the Board!
Attached hereto you will find a short Statement of Interest form - if you are interested in running for the Board, please complete the form, and return via email to:
Erik Golz at egolz@comcast.net. We will be accepting Statements of Interest through 5 pm on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1st.
ON OR ABOUT MONDAY, DECEMBER 5th
We will post the slate of candidates for the elected positions on the Board on the CYBSA website. All Regular Members of the CYBSA will be eligible to vote for the Board candidates. We will be distributing additional information regarding the voting process once the candidates have been posted.
